A Red Lip.
This has been around for ever and although this time a year we see a lot of different reds on the lips of the make up gourous out there, a basic red is always good.
I love a good dark colour but maybe some of you aren’t that comfortable rocking a dark purple lip!
So I’m here to tell you that a red lip looks good on pretty much everyone and a classic look never goes wrong.
There are a lot of different kind of ways you can wear this look; you can go all out with a matte red by Mac, or a shiny red on a budget by Maybelline!
But, you guys, I purchased a lipstick by Bourj ois. And I’m obsesssssed! It’s the Rouge Edition Velvet in 03 Red Pepper.
There are 8 colours in total and they all have this velvety matte finish!
You apply it like you would apply a gloss and immediately you feel the softness and how lightweight it is on!
So my question to you is, and be honest, how long have you been looking for a matte lipstick that doesn’t dry out your lips? (all fingers are pointing at mac right now)
This lipstick has the best matte finish and every time (really, every time) I wear it, I get so many compliments and people ask me how I always get that perfect lip. I mean, I’m not a magician, it’s all about the product. And if you are on a budget, this has your name written all over it!
The colour itself is really opaque and not very buildable, but I mean, if you go for a red lip, go all out and don’t chicken out with a red cheer-y stain.
If you’re wondering what else I have on my face, there you go!
Oh and with this look I am wearing my pink and blue checkered shirt and my jeans overalls, both by Abercrombie&Fitch.
